Matthew 13

We every day nearly wonder if some things are worth the cost. In these parables Jesus will talk about the value of the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 13:44-46

Sometimes in life we feel like our efforts are insignificant or unimportant and we wonder if what we do even matters? But Jesus in some stories about mustard seed and yeast tells us our efforts in the kingdom do matter. Matthew 13:24-43

The kingdom is like a field of wheat and weeds. The followers of Jesus live in a world where evil also exists. Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

We see and hear things every day, but they don’t always impact our life. Jesus experienced that will people in his day and told a parable to describe the heart we need if we are going to follow Jesus. Matthew 13:1-23; Matthew 12

The new community of believers were praising God and committed to one another. Acts 2:42-47

Peter concludes his sermon with Jesus is Lord and Christ. The crowd asks – “What shall we do?” Peter will answer them in Acts 2:37-41.
